Lying

The Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said, “It is lying enough for a man to repeat everything he hears” (Muslim, 1.10: 5. S), because as Imam Nawawi observes, “one generally hears both truth and falsehood, and to repeat everything one hears without checking will necessarily mean telling lies” (Sharh Sahih Muslim, 1.75).

Salaam

Indeed all praise is for Allah and may peace and blessingsbe upon His Messenger Muhammad, his family, his companionsand all those who follow upon his way until the Last Day.

Innal hamdulilah was salaatu was salaamu ala Muhammadan rasulahi, wa ala alaahi, wa sahaabahi, wa min at-taabiee hudahi illa yawmid-din.

Allah has forgiven you

Sayyiduna Jabir ibne-Abdullah (RadhiAllaho anho) narrates
that a man came to Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) and said:

Alas, my sins!
Alas, my sins!
He said this twice or thrice.

Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) asked him to say.

Allahumma maghfiratuka awsaou min dhunubi wa rahmatuka arja indi min amali

O Allah, Your forgiveness is more encompassing than my sins;
and I expect far more of Your Mercy than my own deeds.

The man said these words:
Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said:
Say it again!
He repeated it.
Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said:
Say it once more!
He repeated these words.
Then Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said:

Now get up;
indeed,
Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala has forgiven you.

When stopping in a place

When stopping in a place: “A’oodhu bi kalimaat-Allaah il-taammah min sharri ma khalaqa (I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allaah from the evil of that which He has created).”

Seeking refuge with Allah from 4 things

O Allah! I seek refuge with You from these four things.”Anas bin Malik and Abu Hurayrah narrated that the Messenger of Allah would say:
Allahumma inni a’udhu bika min ‘ilmin la yanfa’ wa min qalbin La yakhsha’ wa min du’a'in la yusma’ wa min nafsin la tashba’“O Allah! I seek refuge with You from knowledge that does not benefit, and from a heart that is not subdued and humble, and from a supplication that is not heard, and from a self that is not satisfied.”
And he would then say: “O Allah! I seek refuge with You from these four things.”
