Abu Hurayrah (radiyallaahu ’anhu) reported that the
Prophet (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) said,
“Whoever recites the words:
La ilaha illalahu wahaduhu lashareekalahu lahul
mulku walahul hamdu wahuwwa ala kulli shyin khadeer
{There is no one worthy of worship but Allaah, the One, having no partner
with Him. Sovereignty belongs to Him and All praise is due to Him, and
He is Powerful over everything}”,
one hundred times every day, there is a reward equal to freeing ten slaves for him,
and a hundred good actions are recorded for him, and a hundred wrong actions are
removed from his record. That is a safeguard for him against Shaytaan on that
day until evening, and no one brings anything more excellent than this, except the
one who has done more than this (that is, who recites these words more than one
hundred times).”
